The McKesson bright blue tourniquet allows healthcare workers to locate and access arm veins for I.V. injections or collecting blood. Made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) fabric, the tourniquet band is elastic and firm while resisting tearing. The tourniquet band is easy to use unassisted and without additional components. Healthcare workers can use the band to tie around the arm to raise veins. It comes in one continuous roll that is perforated for easy tearing. The tear-off strips are in 18-inch increments. A textured grip on the tourniquet band keeps the knot from slipping. It doesn’t need buckles or clasps to tie off. Not made with natural latex rubber, the perforated roll is safe for those with skin sensitivities.
